Hulu support has shared there is no eta to fix this. As per a Twitter post, Hulu support says sorry for the delayed late response on it.

Hulu support suggests users check whether the app is updated or not.

As per Reddit a user shared a trick to fix fast forward option issue .
As per user deleting the affected channel and re adding . It works fine for users.

Hulu appears to have fixed this glitch. Other people in this thread have stated that Hulu updated the app, so I just tried it, and it worked!
To update, use the options button on your remote and select check for updates.
I watched an episode of King of the Hill, and when I went to fast forward the credits (there were more than 10 seconds left), it gave me the notification "You can rewind and fast-forward after the break." Except it's in the Hulu Library and I have ad free.
Note: The DVR and (unless it's a commercial) network library stuff don't have this issue.
