If you are experiencing EaNHL freezing issues. No need to worry, finally Ea acknowledged this issue and said they are aware of this issue and working on a fix.

Right now we don't have any workaround. We have to just wait for official fix.

How to fix Game freeze after goal.
If your game freezes after your friend leaves the match. You just press the X button according to your device.
U don't know, all u can is to press X or A (depending on console) and if your opponent has left u will get the W

Ea aware of sync issue and they said team is looking on nhl22 sync issue.We did get a few reports from players going through the same and the game team is made aware of it. As the studio is still investigating it, I cannot promise you a timeframe now and I am really sorry it happened to you

The Ea nhl team has now confirmed that a fresh tuner is available for the game that fixes the issues that popped up after scoring a goal.
A new #NHL22 tuner is now available that fixes issues that were occurring after goals were scored and syncing issues across all modes. (Source)
