Recently users are reporting issues with the Natwest banking app. User said while they are trying to approve a transaction they are getting an error message.

Finally Natwest is aware of this error issue with the app and currently working hard to fix this issue.

We don't have any workaround with this issue. There is only 1 option: we have to wait for a fix.

Website authentication issue

 I've been trying to buy a product from John Lewis for about 24hrs now. Yesterday the app hit an error whilst trying to authorise, today JL website just shows authentication failed. Really poor service - and unacceptable delay in fixing a widespread issue.

Workaround 

For this issue Natwest shared a workaround. Natwest said  try deleting & reinstalling your app & turning your device off then on again. Source
