YouTube Music launched free background listening starting in Canada. This is the first time that YouTube Music has offered the feature without requiring that customers step up to a Premium subscription to get it.

But there is a catch. However, Canadian users are now reporting that they are unable to use the feature. Many say they have already tried reinstalling the app, clearing cache, rebooting, and updating the YouTube Music app but nothing seems to work.
Several frustrated users have taken to Twitter to discuss this issue.
Finally YouTube acknowledged the issue and said that right now we are investigating.
