In recent days, Google Play users are facing an annoying issue that does not allow them to redeem digital movie codes through the platform.
According to multiple reports, when users try to redeem the code for a movie on Google Play, the system incorrectly shows it as expired. So, they can’t enjoy their bought movies.

The reports of affected users describe that the digital code or token automatically generated when validating a movie purchased on the sites of its producers cannot be redeemed on Google Play.
Most of the reports agree on that the aforementioned issue began to occur in the movies purchased after the Christmas season. So, users have been suffering from this bug for several days.
Google team is already aware
Fortunately, affected users may not have to wait long for a fix to arrive. A few hours ago, a Community Manager on the Google Play support forums confirmed that the glitch was escalated.
