Heavily inspired by Twitter, Truth Social is a recently launched social media platform created by Trump Media and Technology Group. The website was released a day ago on February 21.
It is based on Mastodon, open-source software that uses the AGPLv3 license. Truth Social is also available on iOS as a beta app. And in a matter of few hours, it is on Apple app store’s top charts.

However, those interested are now reporting that the Truth Social sign up is not working.

That being said, those who were able to sign up are getting moved to the waiting list. Judging by the wait list, it looks like people might have to wait a while before their account is created.
Unfortunately, Truth Social is yet to acknowledge or say anything about the sign up not working or users being moved to the waitlist.
We hope the developers are able to resolve the aforementioned issues as soon as possible so those interested can access the social media platform once again.

Truth Social team has currently stabilized the account creation process. Moreover, they are working on increasing the rate of new account creation.

Truth Social app on App Store picked up a new update with version 1.0.2 that brings bug fixes. While it’s not known if it fixes the ongoing issues, users can install it and see if the problems with the app get resolved.

While the Truth Social Status website hasn’t been updated since the outage was first reported, user reports on social media platforms have nearly vanished.
This means that the issue with Truth Social has been resolved for many users, however, there are still some people having problems.
