Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Resistance Story Trailer Released

Fortnite has taken the free-to-play gaming world by storm since its release in 2017. The popular Epic Games title is into its 3rd chapter, and each of these chapters is divided into multiple seasons. Epic Games is known for rewarding Fortnite fans by adding lucrative content each season, like new cosmetics, skins, and other gameplay elements.

Currently, fans are waiting for the second season of the ongoing 3rd chapter. This season is rumored to add a bunch of new exciting content to Fortnite, including many new characters, weapons, and vehicles. One of these rumors was that Doctor Strange would be added to Fortnite in the new season. Recently, Epic Games has taken down Fortnite servers for maintenance in preparation for the new seasonal content.

Epic Games has finally released the story trailer for the upcoming season, titled "Resistance." The new trailer reveals a bunch of new exciting content that will be available in the new season. The trailer also confirms the rumor that Doctor Strange will be added to the extended list of Marvel-based Battle Pass characters, along with several others, including Iron Man and Miles Morales' uncle, Prowler. Both of these characters join Fortnite's extended list of crossover characters from the Marvel Universe. These include Mary Jane, Spider-Man, and Green Goblin, besides Gambit and Rogue from X-Men.

Furthermore, the trailer reveals several other characters like Black Widow, Lara Croft, and members of the Seven. Besides these, Fortnite characters like Dr. Slone and Agent Jones were also seen. All of these characters were engaged in jaw-dropping combat with each other using parkour techniques. In addition to new characters, the trailer also showcased various new vehicles and weapons, including tanks, buses, planes, and many more. Flying battle buses propelled by hot air balloons deserve a special mention.

Epic Games is famous for adding random characters, fictional or real, to the ever-expanding Fortnite roster. Epic recently added the Japanese professional tennis player Naomi Osaka as an Icon Series Skin in Fortnite. Many fans are also speculating about a possible Batman crossover following the release of the latest movie.

Ironically, the season is aptly named "Resistance" as it comes at the unfortunate time of the ongoing Russo-Ukraine military conflict. Epic Games stands with Ukraine as it provides humanitarian relief from Fortnite proceeds to the Ukrainians. In addition, Epic has also suspended commerce in Russia, but in a slightly different way than others. Epic has decided to stop business in Russia, but it'll continue to allow access to its products to Russian people.
