Here is how I managed to solve the Wordle 318 word in five guesses again today. First I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’, which showed me that there is an A and I in the answer, but they have not been placed correctly.
I then guessed the word ‘FAINT’ as I thought that the vowels were likely to be placed together in the word. This word also uses letters I have not guessed yet. This was a great word to guess as it did place the A and I correctly in the word, but it did not reveal any new letters.
The next word I decided to guess was ‘SWEAR’ to see if there is an E in the word and to see if I could reveal any new letters. The only information this guess gave me was that there is an R in the word.
I figured the R would be the fourth letter in the word and so the only word I could think of at the time that used other letters in as the first and last letters was the ‘LAIRY’.
This word placed the R and Y in the correct places, which meant only the first letter needed to guessed to solve the answer to Wordle 318, which is…
