How to delete all text Message in text conversation without Deleting Thread ?
Apple is very innovative when it comes to new features or updating existing one. There are major changes in the iOS version since from the launch. Basic function like Text message is also under continuous changes by Apple. But many a times changing basic features like call, message can mess up iPhone users experience.
How to delete all message in iOS 15, iphone 11
Recently many iPhone 13/12 Pro, 11, iPhone XS MAX etc users are facing issue with message app of iPhone related to thread management. The issue is iPhone user are not able to find out a way to delete all text message in a thread through single action. Earlier you have option like “Delete all” in iPhone text message but in the latest iOS there is no option to delete all the text message.
Only way to delete all the messages from the thread is to delete the contact chat /thread itself completely. Which will remove the entire message record. There is no way to delete all text message in text conversation without deleting the message thread.

“This has been driving me crazy since the update! I have group texts for my kids and husband for certain things and like to clear the chat every once in a while. It was so easy before, I don’t understand why apple would change that. Don’t fix what isn’t broken”
Now when you delete the whole thread and although it deletes the contact name from the message list, which may cause below issues :
- In a group chat if you delete the entire message. After deleting the whole group chat thread in the list, users can not get back in the chat.
- If you have received message from unknown person (no in your contact) there is no way to trace out the number.

Since this is intended behavior added by Apple so to fix this issue you should report this issue to support.
Clearly, Apple needs to restore the Delete All option for texts instead of having to choose each text to be deleted!
