The spoilers for One Piece chapter 1051 have now been leaked, teasing Yamato is finally about to join a proper pirate crew, the Straw Hats.
With the release of the One Piece manga chapter last weekend, the franchise entered a very special group of series that have over 1050 instalments – only 16 series have reached this milestone!
However, the Eiichiro Oda-penned series is showing no signs of slowing down just yet; although fans are expecting the next few instalments to have a rather slower pace following the battle between Kaido and Luffy finally reaching an end last week.
On June 2nd, the detailed spoilers for One Piece chapter 1051 were shared on social media, hinting at a major promotion for Momonosuke and Yamato finally joining the pirate crew to mixed reactions.
One Piece chapter 1051: Release date and time
The next chapter of the One Piece manga, 1051, is currently scheduled to launch both domestically in Japan and internationally in English on Sunday, June 5th.
As confirmed by Manga Plus, the upcoming instalment will release online from the following international times:

One Piece manga chapter 1051 spoilers leak online
On June 2nd, the spoilers from the One Piece chapter 1051 raw scans were leaked online by the reputable Twitter page ‘OPspoiler’. Per the post, the upcoming chapter will be titled “Shogun of Wano, Kozuki Momonosuke” and will feature “The Germas escape” on the cover.
Chapter 1051 will mostly focus on the direct continuation of chapter 1050 in the immediate fallout of the battle between Kaido and Luffy – including the danger of earthquakes from the underwater volcano. The citizens of Wano are confused about what’s just happened, even more so at the dragon (Momonosuke) who they think is actually Kaido.
Yamato is extremely happy seeing everyone after the battle, but explains that she isn’t the enemy just because she is the daughter of Kaido and has horns. She then tells the crew that “I’m Kozuki Oden, also known as Yamato. And I’ll be joining you on your ship from now on! Nice to meet you all!” This leaves half of the pirate members in complete shock, whilst the other half celebrates her joining of their crew.
Reacting to the statement; Nami and Usopp are confused, Franky is sceptical whilst Brook, Sanji and Robin all celebrate. Jinbe says that she may want to join the Straw Hats crew all she wants, but that decision is ultimately Luffy’s to make.
Usopp questions what is happening to some of the soldiers, when Tama reveals that her powers only last for a month before disappearing.
Momonosuke appears with Ame no Habakiri in his waist and makes a speech to the entire island about the battle with Kaido – his face is shown across the island to all Wano residents. “You all have done well!! Surviving these long harsh years!! The Fire Festival will not end here! Starting from tomorrow!! Choose any ways of living as you like!…Drink as much Sake as you like!” he tells the crowd.
Tama then gets upset at Momonosuke’s speech and we see a flashback to talking with Luffy, as Momo continues talking to the crowd saying “Kaido, Orochi and the Bast Pirates, We’ve punished all this evil that has been haunting our nation!”
Then…Momonosuke exclaims “Please lend us your strength! Transcending 20 years of time” We’ve come to save you all!! From this moment on…I, Kozuki Momonosuke, Will rule over the Land of Wano!”
The chapter ends with the narrator saying, “We hereby witness the birth of ‘Kozuki Momonosuke’ who shall later be known far and wide across the world!! As the ‘Great Shogun’ of Wano!”

One Piece chapter 1052 ‘leak’ has fans worried
The 1051st chapter of the One Piece manga is set to release in just a few short hours, but already fans are looking ahead to the next instalment of the iconic series.
On June 3rd, One Piece fan page ‘Epicop’ shared the reported preview for the next instalment, which has fans worried about how injured Luffy is from the recent battle with Kaido.
Per the post, the preview caption for One Piece chapter 1052 reads “The battle is finally over. What happened to Luffy after the fierce battle…!?”
With the leaked spoilers from chapter 1051 hinting that Luffy remains unconscious and heavily bandaged, there is a real chance that our Straw Hats captain may need some time to properly recover and recuperate before he can get back into the fight.

On the 2022 Spring anime broadcasting slate, one series, in particular, is dominating both the headlines and the global trending pages on social media, Spy x Family.
Now, manga fans around the world are now adding Anya from Spy x Family into various other iconic scenes/panels, including several from the One Piece franchise.
