Developed by the same company that brought us Pokemon GO, Pikmin Bloom is an augmented reality-based game that was released in 2021. It incentivizes players to spend time outside.
Players are called Mii and are rewarded with items that help Pikmin creatures grow. They can roam around in the real world to collect different types of flowers.

A few months ago, players reported that the detector was acting up and showing mini-mart nearby instead of roadside. Now, Pikmin Bloom players are complaining that they are unable to connect to the server on mobile data.
Several players reported that they are getting an ‘Unable to connect. Please check your internet connection and try again’ message after updating to v37. Many say that the bug is making the game unplayable.
It is interesting to note that the game is working fine if you try to log in using Wi-Fi. But it is a really serious issue since the game requires going outside where Wi-Fi may not be available.

@NianticHelp Stuck in a loop trying to access Pikmin Bloom. Pokémon GO is working fine. Have reinstalled the app, and it says “unable to connect” the second you try to select any sign in option. Any help?

Reinstalling the game or clearing app data and cache is reportedly making no difference at all.

They also shared a workaround that suggests turning off the VPN or ad blocker. But it looks like the workaround is not helping some.
