Having said the above, for several weeks now, some users have been facing an annoying issue that directly interferes with the experience, by appearing in the middle of the shows.
More specifically, an ‘are you still watching?’ message appears while some Paramount Plus users are enjoying a show, for no apparent reason.

According to multiple reports, the annoying pop-up message can appear at any time. So, it can interrupt the live streaming of a sporting event, or break the tension of a dramatic scene.
It should be noted that the issue has been present for several weeks, there are reports about the Paramount Plus ‘are you still watching?’ message published in December of last year (2021).
This type of message should appear when the service detects that the user is not viewing any content, or has not interacted with the interface. Therefore, if it appears while watching a show, it is annoying and intrusive.
Paramount Plus team is already aware
Recently, the Paramount Plus team confirmed that they are already aware of the reports. The company is looking into it, while requesting more feedback from users to find the cause of the issue.
