Minecraft Legends is a new upcoming action-strategy game from Mojang Studios, developed in partnership with Blackbird Interactive, and announced during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase in June 2022. While the game largely resembles classic Minecraft, it is anything but the open-ended sandbox experience of the early 2010s.

Instead, Minecraft Legends is a modern twist, boasting impressive visuals and a strategy-based campaign with players leading the charge in defending the Overworld from the destructive piglins. Minecraft Legends - Release Date and Platforms

At the time of writing, Mojang has not released an official release date for Minecraft Legends; however, the game is slated for launch during the first half of next year (i.e., Q1/Q2 2023).

Minecraft Legends will release on Microsoft Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S gameplay platforms via their respective store pages. Additionally, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from launch.
